At CTSA, we have a wide range of courses available to prospective teachers, both at primary and secondary levels.

Train to become a great teacher and start making a difference to the lives of students across the Tees Valley region. Learn great skills to help them achieve their goals and surpass their current achievements.

Plus, receive exceptional support along the way from our partners at York St John University; who will provide top-class facilities, in-school experiences, and the knowledge of subject specialists to keep you on track.

You can train to develop your knowledge across Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 in preparation for teaching children at primary level.

Alternatively, at secondary level develop your Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 subject knowledge and shape the lives of students aged 11-16, with the added bonus of having the opportunity to teach in schools with a sixth form if this is something you are interested in.

At both primary and secondary levels we can offer opportunities to train to support students with SEND (special education needs and disability).
